The Delhi Daredevils defeated the Chennai Super Kings which was the only unbeaten team in the IPL Cricket. The Delhi Daredevils’ skipper Virendra Sehwag should be really boosted up by defeating the unbeaten Team and proved that Delhi Daredevils is also the powerful Team.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. The openers Patel and Fleming scored 21 and 13 runs respectively. Vidyut’s 54 runs (7 boundaries and 1 sixer) was the highest in the score card. The Team’s skipper Dhoni scored 32 runs and Morkel scored 28 runs. At the end of 20 overs, the Chennai Super Kings posted a decent total of 169 runs for the fall of 6 wickets.

Chasing the target score of 170 runs, the Delhi Daredevils made a strong opening thru their openers – Gautham Gambhir and Virendra Sehwag. Gambhir scored 50 runs off 37 balls (5 boundaries and 1 sixer) and Sehwag scored a fast 71 runs (7 boundaries and 4 sixers). The Daredevils met their target in 19 overs and won the match by 8 wickets. The team’s skipper Virendra Sehwag was declared the Man of the Match
